I too found this technology easy to use which was surprising to me. It looked so complicated when we were introduced to it at lecturers. I was expecting a lot more frustration.
The way you have used your voicethread in conjunction with the other mediums is well thought out. I incorporated the use of voicethread as an engagement tool which then encourages further use through response.
We live in an ever changing world. It is so much easier for people born 20, 15 and 5 years ago to adapt and learn about technology. I was born in 1981 and saw my first computer in grade 6. I can use Word, fumble my way through Excel, turn out a fairly good PowerPoint, use Movie Maker fairly well, solve minor computer problems, perform searchers (don't you love Google?), send emails, upload photos, use internet banking with my eyes closed (all bills) and scan documents. There is probably more.....but there is so much more that I do not know. So thinking about this makes me think about those born before me....let me know how you are going!
